Dan Waber occasionally writes on cards with his fingertips, using a thick paint that slathers onto the page thickly, so thickly that it appears that he'd need a thumb to get the paint on. This card arrived with my initials upon it, but he has also sent out similar cards (with different initials) to different artists he's connected with (for example,
Bob Grumman). After all, this is a contest of letters.
